PHARMAPLANT GmbH is a modern contract research and development company that provides solutions to complex problems with plant raw materials for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, perfume, seasoning, and novel food industries.


In the over 75 years since the founding of the research institution, originally part of SCHERING AG in Berlin, a wide variety of problems from private industry have been solved for a multiplicity of plant species. This work has generated vast know-how on plant cultivation and post-harvest processing, plant physiology, botany and biochemistry and developed into a phytotechnology platform.
